    Exciting discovery

Now before anyone thinks about it, I'm not bashing any detectors, only making an example of how adjusting one machine might change how you think about adjusting another. A little background information before revealing what I’ve discovered about the Fisher F75. More than 10 years ago I...

    Mono coil

Looking for a "true" mono coil for my White's TDI SL. I purchased a coil a while back and the seller stated it was a 7.5" OZ mono coil, but when it came the label had bee removed and the coil tested out to be the White's Dual Field which I did not want. Let me know what you have. I prefer a...

    TDI coil connector

I recently emailed White's requesting the purchase of the coil connector for the TDI. Evidently they don't sell that part, but requested me send them my machine for repair. Anyone know where I can purchase these connectors? The cheapest I could find on ebay is $17 each.

    Interesting information

Notice a very important attribute of my newly updated F75 LTD. air test: All prior owned F75 had basically the same ID number scheme. Both clad and silver dimes read almost exactly the same Both clad quarters and silver quarters did the same. Now for the newly updated LTD. Clad dime 70-71...

Not 100% correct to a point

What I've read from others about the DS really throttling down the machine is not 100% correct. There are so many factors to consider about the performance of a detector. I ran it through my test garden and can say with DS enabled the machine is much quieter than before. Now I can say with...

    Remembering days gone by

To begin I’d like to explain a little about why I wanted to write a review of the F75. My first detector was purchased by my wife in 1980. As most well know, the machines back then, had very little depth and hardly, if any, discrimination. Since that time I’ve owned three other detectors from...
