    Those are all very interesting and have a good bit of age to them. The first item looks like some sort of lock plate like off a trunk. Is the coiled flat spring in the second item iron or brass? It sure is in good shape. Is the end of the third item finished or cut/broken? Any threads on it...

    I still use mine occasionally, usually with one of the concentric coils. I have no intention of ever getting rid of it. In the right conditions it is slightly deeper than the.Legend.

    Those are some special finds. Can you tie a Dr. William H Day to the site. The monogram on the flatware seems to be a different name.
