    Search Coils For Sovereign

    I second the Tornado for choice of my favorite large coil for the Sovereign. It's fairly light for it's size, goes DEEP and separates will. But above all, it's STABLE!

    The reason for the disparity in readings is simply the size of the coins. That's perfectly normal. But are you saying the dime is giving a low tone? That would definitely be very weird.

    Thanks. Over the years of using the Sovs, I've enjoyed modifying them for better performance almost as much as the actual hunt. LOL I'm really disappointed in Minelab for discontinuing this line. At least they are built like tanks to last a LONG time!
