    Thanks, the NEL Sharpshooter is a good one for the TPro and the areas I hunt. Most of the places I hunt have at least medium trash so the D2 can be a little overwhelmed by it.

    VDI #

    Rusty iron will give false signals with almost any detector and I assume thats what you are getting. I always hunt with iron discriminated out and haven't had a problem.

    Pole Reach?

    I am 6'00" and do not have the pole all the way extended(middle setting) for comfortable reach. Coil sits about 18 inches in front of my feet just where I like it.
