    I've got an '06 250 , I use mostly for work,, it has the 5.4 as well ,, I've got 322,000 on it now ,, and it runs smooth . But as soon as I can , I'm gonna do the timing chain , lifters and followers on it as well ,, probably get the valves repeated while I'm at it.

    Just a thought here. But get on one of those self service junk yards like Pull-a-Part ,, do a search for the truck or car your needing parts for ,, like the frames , etc . You can get that stuff pretty cheap . Odens ,, if you look in areas like here in NC ,, you can find stuff still in good...
