Gone Back To A NEW Nox 800.

I still like the 800 it seems to do well. I think the gold bug does fine also. When in the slope and picked up targets I switched to all modes and didn't find much different audio response.. gold mode for me is the best . I like the audio over beach modes. Personal preference I guess. ...

Small fines are it I don't know if the gold club exists anymore . The hadlers were kind to let us pan in there portion of rocky run. Had a blast with the kids now they are grown now. Fun for a time. Everything comes down to timing. Children grow and things change. I used to love it...

Tried out my new Nokta Triple Score...

Doesn't matter what machine you run it is where you hunt an how many targets are there. Most machines are capable. The slight advantage may help with new developments . You have to get on the place .

    Any carp fishermen out there?

When they land locked after the floods were very easy to get. We would shoot them with bow . A prized fish for sure if prepared correctly. My buddy Catfish jack just built a new smoker for them.he built it out of old pallets . It runs 160 to 180 and uses ash for the wood. Very plentiful in...

    M/L Equinox 600

I don't mind the compressed scale but did they change the angle of the grip. It hurts my hand if you are doing an extended hunt. I always found the s rod more comfortable than a straight shaft.

Nokta Triple Score and Minelab Elite tested on the Beach in salt water.

The 800 seems to do fine but the ergonomics suck. I have a 15 once brass counter weight milled to fit in the back end of shaft. It still sux. Light as a feather but it hurts my hand right above the second knuckle to your palm. Any suggestions. Are these machines better for longer hunts?
