    LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION is the key to success. I use multi-frequency occasionally, quick hunt or new park, but I prefer single frequency. Seems more readable to me.

    Looked to me like about a 5-point rise in the ring using MIONO as opposed to General with the stock coil? Pretty sure I saw 55 in MOINO and 50 in General. I haven't been able to get the HF2 coil anyway, but just saying.

    I had the Manticore for a while, but liked my D2 better and sold the Manticore. The Manticore is a great detector, and easier to run than the D2, but I like the D2 tones.

    Is there a key to getting the D2 v3.10 to keep the volume settings on the WSAII XLs? Mine still seem to default back to the lowest volume? Found the Pitch 2. I'll give it a try tomorrow.

    I updated this morning and used it in a tot lot. It felt very stable. I mainly got it so I wouldn't have to keep changing the volume of my headphones LOL. So far, so good.

    Thoughts from those who have the Deus 2 9.5 HF coil

    I'm thinking about getting the 9" HF coil for the Deus 2, but have some reservations. Will it be worth the upgrade to someone like me? I don't hunt deep old coils anymore, just mainly tot lots and schools for jewelry. Fun is my number one objective. I know the higher frequencies can be helpful...
