    Civil War hunt.........

    Went with some friends to Virginia to hunt CW relics. I got several varieties of bullets, a nice early flat button, a cannon ball frag, a lead band from an artillery round and several misc items. The RR train spring was 18" deep in wet clay. Sure was a job getting it out of the ground, and heavy...

    Hit two old parks yesterday. I got a 1900 Barber dime. a 1920 merc, two wheats (41, 27), a 59D first year memorial, 61 clad coin ($4.45) including a dollar coin, a kids ring, charm, key, a tag, and 3 cars.

    Winter hunt and returned cell phone.....

    When duty calls. My daughter in law lost her cell phone outside in the snow somewhere at the huge camp that they live at. So I tossed the detectors and the wife in the car and headed to camp. They had it narrowed down to three areas, and the second one is where I found it. She is a happy camper...
