    VX3 Coil

    I used to have a V3i and the 6X10 seemed to be a pretty good coil for me. If I am wrong somebody correct me.

    Problem is 4X6 is most likely only good for about 5" That to me is just too shallow. Even though I might miss some shallow targets, I would miss all the deep good targets.

    Advantage 600 or 800

    Still to see no claims of advances. For me the 600 would be fine because I do no prospecting but exactly what is this detector supposed to do better than my two Etracs.

    Deus

    We had two Etracs with good operators hunt the same place with a Deus and he kicked our rears. He is getting just a little more depth. My only thought is to run Deep On and Fast Off. Any other suggestions?

    Unusual Find

    Got out to hunt a little today and ground was so hard I almost quit. Found 5 Wheats, One Silver Ring, and this thing. I gave the Ring to the Owner and picked up another Property. This thing is unusual and I am close to Baylor University. So far nothing on it though.

    Etrac Settings Sensitivity figured out

    Whats up with this Wheat

    Look at this close. I take it to be a 1919D with some sort of error. I found this today at an old house and it was extremely deep. I don't think this is what they call Mint Condition, but that extra Metal on the last digit of the year is not damage.
