Any Compass Detector Enthusiasts these days????

Nice arsenal you have there. Life does take many different turns, some for the good, some for the bad. Also trying to downsize, got rid of most things I’ve accumulated over the last 40 years, mixed feelings about it. Not downsizing in my metal detector collection, or my transistor radio...

    Teknetics/ Bounty Hunter Condor Professional

Here are a few models from Tek/BH from the 1987-88 Buyers Guide put out by Western & Eastern Treasures. These detectors were the most expensive detectors put out that year by anyone except for the Gardiner Treasurtron-C witch was$985.00.

    CS4pi

Good detector, been making them for a while. Lots of digging ahead of you. Takes 8 AA’s to power that small unit. No disc of any kind. Have the CS6PI also. Good hunting .

    Teknetic’s Turbo Competition Metal Detector

Believe they came out in late 80’s for competition hunts. Has George Paynes sweet tones. 9v’s useing 9AA’s with an additional one 9v battery backup. Have the good 10” coil on it. No speaker in them, so headphones a must. Works like a darn, fun to use. Has anyone used one?

Any Compass Detector Enthusiasts these days????

Hi Mark, late 70’s I got into it, got a Garrett ADS Deepseeker with 5 coils for $100. Found many treasures with it as most ground was virgin territory. That was the start, have 147 detectors now, only 2 not working.

    Something different

One more thing I would like to say about Red Heat detectors. They were designed to pick up non ferrous targets amongst the iron on the Thames River. I have 3 4 1/2” iron square head nails and a 1916 British Shilling. I place the coin on top and then under the nails, Red Heats has no problem...

    PATRIOT METER

Had to take it out, been a while. Have 6 coils for the Sov, used the GT. 5 of the coils are Minelab coils and one Cors coil for the GT. All Minelab coils were spot on with the meter, very accurate. Cors 13”/12” coil didn’t work well at all, wouldn’t calibrate. No problem calibrating with...
