    A Few Hours With the Impulse AQ

    Not a bad few hours with the Impulse. Recently purchased the 8" coil (and another AQ) and got into a nice line on the slope. Three other detectorists were pounding the shore line so I stayed clear. The chain is 925 and about 22". The ring is stainless but cool, nonetheless. HH

    Spent about two hours with the CTX, today. Some clad and a really heart-stopping junker ring. Rang up as a solid 12/28 and I just knew the drought was over. Still a beautiful day and I almost found enough change to pay for parking. HH JC

    Equinox 900 Question

    Should I be able to change which frequency is used in Beach mode? I am able to change it in all other modes except Beach 1 and 2. The frequency button will beep but remains on multi-freq. It's not a big deal, but just wanted to know. I have tried the mode reset and nothing changed. Thanks. JC
