    Update - finally got it out of "update" screen by shutting down every window and restarting the laptop. Went back into the utility, restarted the update and the re-install went fine. Next question: Do I need to update the headphones and pin pointer?

    Most of the videos I see are for salt water situations? Anyone detect freshwater beaches? One is full sand and the other is gravel/sand. May be some wading involved but nothing deep. Mainly interested in the dry sand. TIA!

    On my property, there is simply too much chatter maxed out. I have to drop around 60-65. Of course, I'm a newly with the D2 so maybe I can learn some tricks in order to run at higher sensitivity.

    I thought 2.77 and 2.78 both have the mute feature. I thought 2.78 simply took off the ID numbers at deep depth?
