    Which mode...

    Does anyone use Park 1 when beach sweeping or just use beach mode? Also what mode do you use when water hunting? I have used both Park and Beach mode and really didn't notice a difference.

    Old Settlers Park

    But you can't tell what year it is. Can only see the top of Lincoln's head (barely) and the top part of the reeds on the back. It wouldn't even rate at "poor" condition.

    Got out for a couple hours to a old park this weekend. It has been hammered to death by detectors. Really didn't find much some trash and a couple pennies. One is a really green and corroded wheat penny. Can't get the date off it because of the green corrosion. Any ideas on how to clean it up?

    So I have the Garrett Carrot.... I think it is now haunted after detecting a "Haunted" place. I noticed the light on the pin pointer would stay on every now and then even when the pin pointer is off. The reason I say it is haunted is I took the battery out and the light stays on!!! pretty sure...

    Got permission to do the yard of an old house that was built in the mid 1800. A lot of trash. But some of the more notable fine was a 1907? Silver Canadian dime. Leave it to me to hit right on a date with my digger LOL. A nice old pin that I believe the back is copper, and has a awesome...

    Do you do anything to the 600 when you take it into the water? I know they say it is totally waterproof up to 16 feet. But the little screw in plug for the headphones don't seem very water tight. And was wondering about the speaker.

    So I did some beach sweeping this weekend. All metal mode, got a hit and scooped the sand and this heart stopping gem popped up... Imagine the feeling of finding a Gold coin on the beach!!! Only to have the excitement tank when you realize... It's only a piece of flipping Chocolate!!! 😆

And some young guy with a attitude came out and said You can't do that here, we have underground sprinklers... So I calmly said no...
