    1877 Indian Cent

    Out today digging in a horse pasture, concrete hard dirt and found this along with a 1901 not 20 feet from it. We need rain in the Ozarks! This is the way Indians come out of the ground here, beautiful green. Plan to have it sent to NGC for preservation. Found with the X-Terra Pro.

    Elite Observations

    After a few outings with the Elite I have concluded that it is just a hot rod Vanquish that has wireless headphones and a single frequency. I hunted exclusively in multi frequency and found no advantage, if fact it was worse in Iron than the Pro. Minelab is tight lipped on the multi frequency...

    Chasing A CW Camp

    Went out yesterday for a few hours, ground was like cement and took both the Pro and Elite. Nothing found but cans. Was in pastures around electric fences, both machines do not like electric fences! I tried every setting, sensitivity, frequencies etc. Just something to deal with I guess!

    Found On Line, Frequencies Elite

    The Elite multi frequencies Are 2.5khz - 41.5khz. All the modes use a different combination of frequencies. Field 1 uses lower weighted frequencies. Field 2 higher weighted frequencies.     Multi IQ on the Elite

    I have looked at the specs and have not found what frequencies are used. Am I missing something or are they the same as the Nox?

    X-Terra Elite On The Way

    Down to 1 X-Terra 70, have the XTP that has been a great relic getter. Liking the lighter weight detectors at 69 have had fewer outings the past few years. The Nox I had was definitely not for me as I like fewer settings and I'm not a machine tweaker. Hope the multi frequency is a little calmer...

    Over 50 years in the hobby, used almost every detector made, how complicated is it to learn one? Have heard that they are brass button killers in iron as I'm just a relic hunter.
