Awesome hunt, would take that any day! I don't remember what you hunt with and that's still on my bucket list, what kinda VDI did it come in so I can update my cheat sheet? Appreciate it, great digs! JJ

Manticore - Are you only digging targets reporting on the center line of screen ?

Center line is only one of many factors before I dig. I use 2D more to help with iron. Age of site, common depth of desired known targets, iron mix, known trash mix, stable/reasonable ID. If it checks most of my boxes, I will investigate the oddball numbers. Interesting video and info, thank you. JJ

    Manticore + M9 coil = Silver!

It is part of a park outside of town near a river. Was popular campgrounds from 19teens-1940's but mostly overgrown now. The original road is now a little known walking trail. Have been all over but one area in particular yields older finds and I have no idea why. Research is limited on this...

    Manticore + M9 coil = Silver!

Day two return to the woods today. Different area, different machine, different coil. This area has really produced in the past but has been dried up for some time. It's not a large area and I've been over it countless times. Today I wanted to give the M9 coil on the Manticore a trial run. All...

    First dig 2026

Had to take advantage of this nice weather and trek out into the woods to check the ground thaw here in the middle of the country. Hit the frost line at about 6-7 inches but I can certainly work with that. No great finds to post, just clad but was a nice day out with the Nox 800 and first run...

What detector have you Sold that you have Sellers Remorse????

Definitely the ctx3030. None of my current rigs have a cup holder or hand warmers 😢I miss the sweet tones of the Explorer II also.

    Will the myth become legend.

Picked one up a short while before reading this review, very excited now! 😄 I have a handful of places that have more ground to cover than I have time so coverage is my main goal. Bad case of cabin fever this year! Also geared up with an M9 and a 14x9 for the Knox. Excited to put them all thru...

    Question about unspendable pennies!

Save them. As of this writing, Zinc is .14 cents more per pound than aluminum. Hoard them then sell for melt value down the road.
