    Tungsten Ring

I'm trying to find a friends lost mens tungsten wedding band. We know the location, about a 15 x 15 foot area but it is SUPER trashy with iron, aluminum, copper and other junk. I have a T2 Classic and a Tesoro Cibola. Could anyone advise which detector may be best for this and how much Disc to...

    AT Max question

Does the AT max have the standard external speaker that is independent from the Z-link system ? Those of us in rattlesnake country don't like headphones.

    T-2 Question

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the T2 has increased sensitivity past a certain level of discrimination. Can anyone verify this? Thanks

    Vaquero-Cibola question

Can these two detectors still be purchased with the high tone mod ? I think the high tone was about $30.00 extra.

    Sad News

I just read on another forum that one of the Civil War relic hunting greats has passed away. Howard R. Crouch of Northern Va. He authored several books on relic hunting and identification and was an inspiration to many people including myself. He will be missed and my prayers and sympathy go...

    Tesoro Metal Box Eldorado

Any one still use this detector from the mid 80's ?

    Why ??

Why is it that with every new detector model that comes out the price goes higher and higher. Look at the new Garrett.:rage: IMHO the manufactuer's are pricing themselves out of business. I have been in the relic hunting hobby 40 years but can no longer afford to purchase a new machine. I am...

    F-70

Considering a new F70 for relic hunting. It's at the limit of my budget. Have been told that it matches the standard F75 in depth, just less options. Anyone here use this machine to relic hunt ? What is your opinion of it in this capacity ? I'm also stuck on the coil choice, Stock concentric or...

    Vista Smart

Is this machine good on CW relics---buttons, deep bullets? I see one dealer has it on sale for $599. I'm tempted to try one if it has the depth needed for the deeper relics that remain in my older sites.

    Tesoro's website

Why is it that 50% of the time that I try to visit Tesoro's website, this is what comes up ( Forbidden--you do not have access on this server ) Do they have a problem or is it on my end ?

    AT Pro zero mode

Running the AT Pro in zero mode with no discrimination should be about the same as a true all metal mode. Can anyone explain the difference between these two modes of operation ? I have heard the AT Gold would do better at relic hunting because of having a true all metal mode.

Relic hunting with the AT Pro

Could someone tell me what kind of depth to expect with the AT Pro on larger brass relics such as buckles and breastplates. I have never seen an air test done with items larger than miniballs. In good ground it seems to be able to detect bullets in the 10 to 12 inch range from the videos and air...

Has the standard T-2 been replaced by the T2se, or will Teknetics continue to produce the original model ?

Outlaw users manual now on Tesoro's website

Very well written and covers everything. :tesoro: :clapping:
  18. J

    I wish that,

Tesoro would put the Outlaw owners manual on their website. A field test would be nice also. It looks like they were in the process of updating the website but nothing has been added for weeks.

    Outlaw Question

This may have been answered allready and I missed it, but is the outlaw 4 pin or 5 pin ? H.O.T. technology or standard like the Bandido II and Eldorado ?
