    V3i With a SunRay Probe ???

    I know I have had to remove the DX-1 from my V3i because none of the coils worked properly falsing and a lot of chatter. When I ran the coils straight tot he whites box things got much better. I even have done a master reset. Removing the DX-1 fixed it for me.

    V3i vs DFX ( for those who have used both)

    I love my V3i, that being said the DFX is one heck of a good machine and I still keep it with me as a back up. The V3i is my number one machine it is incredible.

    Faster

    I would think a small coil and a slow sweep would help. You would have to accept the iron or a range in the iron you want the machine to tell you about. But using a small coil and slow sweep I would think would do it. I'm still pretty new to using the V3i, but think there isnt much it can do. h2oyo

    SEF 10x12 pinpointing problems?

    I haven't had any problems with mine either. When I pinpoint the coin is always just behind the bolt that holds the coil on. It its a bottle cap it will or seems usually a couple of inches off that, but only with old rusty bottle caps. Hope you figure it out its a really great coil.

    I cant tell you much about what settings to use, here in AZ the ground is pretty monetized. I can tell you get it on the detector because you will love it.
