    any way to get closer to a metal shed?

    a shed is right on top of a campsite, when I get within 4 feet of it the detector goes wild. Should I turn the sensitivity way down, is that my only option? If I could get at least 2-feet closer to the shed, I could probably dig some more buttons or bullets.

    completely inaccurate depth

    My CTX is reading targets at 1/2 inch at 5-6 inches; and targets at 5-6 inches at 6-7 inches. This is messing me up discriminating trash. In the site that I hunt, everything under 3 inches that I dug is trash. Everything deeper than 3 inches is a good target. What can I do to fix this?

    3030 let me down

    I was hunting in a field with radio towers 800 yards away, railroad track 75 yards away. My CTX was so erratic that it was impossible to hunt with. I dont know which was causing it, but I assume the towers. Cheap detectors out performed mine, they had no interference what so ever. I was stuck...
