Great day at the cross roads

Great finds Jeff. The John Deere badge/emblem is the best of the bunch.

    E-Trac in nickels and gold

You obviously don't need any advice on how to use the Etrac. Like water hunting, I think some parks have been cherry picked for nickel/jewelry targets, but early in my Etrac hunting, I found a lot of deep (7" to 9") nickels, Lately, not so much. It's not the machine, it's the territory.

    A couple of beauties

For the last month I have been hunting a small park that has been on my radar, but never got around to hunting until recently It dates from 1920. Here are a couple of deep targets that I found.

The good, bad and the ugly

Good hunting, Jeff, especially in that area with the iron. That one coat button is spectacular.

    First Silver

I've only had the Equinox 800 for a couple of weeks and had maybe 6 hours on it. This was from a couple of hours hunting a park yesterday. 10 Wheaties, 1960 Franklin, 1953 Rosie, a 1928 Progressive Convention (heart) Fob and a pewter toy flintlock. Lots of fun.

    1851 Sword Belt Plate

Totally freakish find. I've hunted CW camp sites off and on for about 15 years and never found a belt plate. Last week I was hunting an obscure area of a city park and popped this fro about 10 inches with the Etrac. It was raining, I had the rain cover on, so I was only going by sound.
