    Are Washed Out areas Worth Detecting..!

    Could be the coins ect have been washed down stream to where the flood waters empty into a basin or a bend in the river. Just a thought.

    I suggest keeping it. It eats nothing and a day may come when that pen could bring you some luck! Not many people have a nice pen like the one you found.

    I am a Pen Maker and am familiar with that pen. If it is operable the the ink cartridge can be replaced for less than $5.00. Hope this helps.
