    Thanks bought the 800 shortly before they released the Manticore . It’s just now coming in stock. Could buy one but should I wait until it’s out a year to see if any minor changes ( bugs worked out)?

    I hit a pounded close by place N 800 been trying all metal found some wheat cents two war nickels and a gold 1963 HS class ring I had missed ( and others missed)

    Thanks think it’s French . But more then enough English to get a idea of the detector. Coins they found weren’t very deep don’t think any halfway decent detector would miss them but still I’m intrigued

    My last new detector was the Etrac a great machine. So recently I purchased the box 800 after watching all the live hunts that seemed like everyone was using one and now I find out Minelabs coming out with a brand new detector !🤦🏼‍♂️🤷🏼

    Etrac has been discontinued by minelab. I have an Explorer SE pro. Etrac and nox 800 . Have to compare them in the field

    I switched from a long line of Garrett’s to minelabs. The Garrett AT pro is good. Garrett’s philosophy has been to make detectors that are easy to find something no elaborate settings or programs. But I like my minelabs

    I’ve been air testing various gold targets because I just got my 800 so I don’t know what they come up sound or number wise in the ground. But I’ll keep digging. Nice finds

    Glad to hear . Yes I think I figured it out to turn off I have to push right in the center of the button. It’s not just me had others try it with the same results . It’s no longer under warranty but I can live with it.
