    simplex wireless headphone package

    It's my understanding that wireless package doesn't come with 1/4" headphone pigtail.If headphones malfunction your stuck.At the cost of unit I would be willing to pay an extra $10 or so for the cost of adapter.Sent inquiry to Nokta but no reply.

    Broken XS

    Does anybody repair these? Mine quit on me this week.I believe it is a short between battery and box.Machine working great then abruptly shuts off,won't power up.Want to try and save this great detector,never saw a need to upgrade. (should I try to fix it myself,electronics isn't my strong suit...

    sov as pinpointer for p.i.?

    could you hipmount a sov and sunray probe (juryrig something) sov should work with just probe i think.(if it wasn't so late i'd try it out with my exp xs and probe) but anyway if it works you could hit deep with p.i. dig a little then use probe to see if it's worth continuing. could save a lot...

    anyone thinking of trying explorer? there is an xs 4 sale (with explorer ll housing) at treasure depot for $425.i swing ax xs myself and it's an awesome machine and that's a very good price....hh....jb

    there is a very good deal on e-bay for an explorer xs with sunray probe for $520 delivered. i swing the same setup and it is an awesome combo. if i had the extra cash i'd buy it for a backup . so if you want to try an explorer here's your chance at a reasonable price....hh.....jb
