    Ever notice?

    How nativity scenes have the 3 wise men around the manger and yet the Bible tells of them visiting Christ as a child,not a baby, in his home/house at a later date? Just the shepherds at the manger! How people put little female angels on their trees but the only reference to angles in the Bible...

    Prizm score's $12,000 Aussie! :ausflag:

    Good friend of ours here scored this coin a couple of months back. Its a rare Sydney mint gold Sovereign. At first he thought it was a few thou, later maybe 8, but a bloke recently offered him $12,000. A dream find huh!

    Coin haul

    Yeah, they are foreign coins from the land down under, that's why so many of them are facing the wrong way up. I kept trying to flip them over for the shot but some of them kept flipping themselves back over. I think its our reverse gravity down here.:lol: He's found heaps of other stuff too...

    Coin haul

    A friend of mine, very experienced detector savy old guy, asked me to take a pic of his coins found with his Spectra. He's a top operator, great person too.

    Few more Priz 6 finds.

    Took the 6T out for another run. Had a bit better luck this time. The site was first lived on by the old time goldrush diggers then by some a bit later. The old snake belt buckle and 1/2 oz gold weight would be from the goldrush and possibly the old cartrige case (has a D and an arrow imprinted...

    A few Prizm finds:ausflag:

    Here's a few finds I made the other day hunting near an old gold battery site in Central Victoria using my 6T. No coins unfortunately but the place has been really hammered by others over the years so I was lucky to find anything worth even looking at. The metal plate is from an engine maker...

    A good day and a bad day:thumbup::sad:

    Was chasing up a reef that I was sure was there and finally found it, maybe, no big stuff but rich stone nonetheless. Hard going though and ended up badly tearing muscles around the ribcage. Now have to wait for a month to heal up and see what or if there is any real body to it or if I only...

    Odd coin sort of thing?

    A friend just found this and no-one we know has any idea what it is exactly. Only one side is distinguishable, on the other very worn but a cross just visible right across it. Any ideas? Thanks too everyone for your input on that little bottle in a previous post:thumbup:

    Seen this bottle before?

    Found this little bottle on some gold diggings over here in Aus. Anyone seen them before and know what they were used for?

    GMT in the hands of an old timer!

    Took an old mate out yesterday, 78 years young, with his new GMT. By the end of the day, him 5 bits, me zilch. He even got one of them just ten feet away from my car, just to rub it in. He,s been detecting since the first machines hit the goldfields over here. Full of great stories and a...

    GMT's still got it!

    Found a specimen of quartz two days ago and got a nice bit of crystalline gold out of it using a PI machine. The remaining quartz gave no signal but I thought id hang on to it as sometimes there can be small bits undetectable still inside. Id smash it up and see later. I ran it over the GMT's...

    One club I'm in no hurry to join:look:

    Saw this sign on my way back from detecting the other day. No disrespect to those buried there but it is funny:smile:

    Good on Whites for the new Coinmaster:thumbup:

    We just had the new Coinmaster arrive here in OZ and what a good looking machine for the money. It has been tried out against the Goldsnoop and its Iron disc litteraly kills the Snoop making it look like a toy. The Coinmaster has slightly better sensitivity too. On our Aussie coins I tested it...

    Three big nuggets:ausflag::thumbup:

    These 3 beauties were found by a customer friend of ours here at the shop. He brought them in to weigh but the scales were not big enough:laugh: The biggest was 18oz but the other two I missed how much they weighed as he quickly left before telling me when a dodgy looking bloke came in whilst I...

    Gold from the last 3 weeks. :ausflag:

    Managed to get out between the rain which finally landed here in central Vic on my days off. No biggys but then Im not geared up for them either, gotta keep the rip light these days. Lot of fun though. 2 1/2 oz all up. The gold is in a Whites gold pan. Found with a 45 and small N/F mono coil...

    Ounce of little bits with GMT.:ausflag:

    Hi to everyone. Heres an ounce of small gold, electronic paning, found by a friend of mine and the boss's with a GMT and standard 10" elliptical coil in recent times. Found in Victoria AUS. Small yeah, but an ounce is an ounce!

    A couple of nice bits!!

    These two pieces were brought in for us to have a look at, 2 ounces each. They were surprising bits though because they came from an area in Victoria where only fine gold had been reportedly found to date. They are not recent bits though, a couple of years old found by the father of the person...

    The 10.5 ouncer's little brother......

    Here's the little brother to the 10 1/2 ounce bit. Same guy found it but not at the same spot. Was just over the hill from the bigger bit on some diggings fed from the same hill/reef line.

    10 1/2 OZ Nugget:ausflag:

    A friend and customer brought this nugget in to show me this morning. He had his new 20" N/F coil for just 1 week when he snagged it. Nice bloke, glad he found it. Makes your mouth water doenst it!
