Great video. even with doing this more years than I can remember I still love this stuff. video also reminds me
how I hate winter coming here!

Great video, thanks so much for the full digs and letting us hear the sounds. Nice Barber and V nickel.

So are you digging smaller holes (as I see alot of Minelab users here digging large and deep holes) with the SEF coil?
Are you getting the same depth as you would with your stock coil?

Bill I'm not trying to hijack your thread. Did you used to do some videos using a V3i? If so, do you no longer use a V3i? Just curious if it was you...

Great Video Great Dig

I now look for your videos

There was some snow and rain today and it always looks like Spring where you are

Can you teach us that trick?

A V Nickel and a Barber Dime, that is a GREAT HUNT

Major Congrats

Nice video. What kind of camera and set up are you using?......NGE

congrats on the Barber...and thanks for the video

First thanks for all the positive comments. I will try to answer the questions that were asked in one thread......;o)

This is the smaller 8x6 coil so I do not belive it goes quite as deep as the stock coil but it comes close. The size of the hole I dig has nothing to do with the coil I am using. If a person knows how to pinpoint correctly there is no need to dig a huge ( dinner plate sized) plug. Sometimes I will dig a little bit bigger plug if I am having problems pinpointing a target because I think there may be trash nearby or two targets close together. Some people say that digging a bigger plug is better for the grass but I hunt mostly in public areas so you have to be as neat as possible. I cant be digging dinner plate sized plugs everywhere......;o) Now people that hunt on private property that is a whole different story. It may be a lot easier for the to just use a shovel and dig a big hole.

I have used many different detctors......Lol I got rid of the V3i. I just did not like it. To much iron falsing, jumpy target id, etc. It went real deep and had a lot of nice features but the Etrac (in my book) is so much better.

As soon as I figure it out I will let you know. It may have looked like spring but it was cold.......;o)

I use the flip ultra HD video camera and the Targus TG-42TT Tripod. It is a small cheap tripod but the legs fold up easily so that makes it real easy to work with.

I don't know what does! You have a great setup on the killer Minelab E-Trac! Thanks for the great videos!!

Hey thanks for the video...as a new E-trac owner who has not had the opportunity to detect with it yet (frost in the ground), I appreciate the opportunity you provide to listen to the sounds of the detector. Thanks again for the video.

Nice video Bill,enjoyed very much.
