Hello brother, I have the T-2 stock coil - I still dig gold rings 8 ish, I do just fine with it,, didn't find too many rings at that depth, but on get a slight zip) also at 8 ". Other than if ur doing Relic's.... I can't hunt 6- 7 hours w/ that machine too long, gets a bit heavy by then.. or I'm spoiled with my D-2. .. not really got a bad elbow & shoulder...... good hunting!!

I have the new Teknetics 12” dd coil I use on my t2. It’s a great coil. Very deep separates as good as the stock coil and light as a feather. It also ground balances with no issues unlike most of the non first Texas after market coils
