How did I miss this thread?
GREAT find! It took me a lot longer to find gold tho it was also at a soccer field.

Quality Frederick Goldman ring there tiftaaft. 12-35 is an odd number for a gold ring and I usually dig pennies with that TID. I have found a cheap ring and a pendant at 12-35 or 12-36 which made me rethink skipping all those 12-30 numbers which I have been doing lately. Thanks for the post.

Yes, I actually thought I was digging a zinc penny... but it was hitting so solid that it was begging be to cut the plug. So glad I did!!

Regarding where on the 3030 matrix gold rings reside:
My gold rings this year have rang in as follows: 12-02 (1.22g), 12-13/14 (3.34g), 12:27 ("Sml gold band") and 12-33/34 (8.83g).
Some of my sterling (.925) rings have included: 12-12, 12-15/16, 12-31, 13-45 and 5/6-47 (hugh silver ring).
A HUGH Tungsten ring rang in at, yes, 12-37...sure glad I dug it!
