1700-1800's camp site

I need some help on a couple items, I found a old regiment camp site in the woods pulled a 1872 quarter, canon ball a button with a royal crown in the middle,I'm in Canada btw, another item uncovered is what I thought was a old smoking pipe but its not and I have no clue what it is. The canon ball is 9 1/2 inches around and roughly 5 pounds, so any help on the pipe looking thing and button would be great, cheers

That's a great spot you have there, Meditech. That's the one out Red Head isn't it?

Congrats on the New Brunswick Regiment button. You are the maaaaaster. Keep posting those finds!

Haha there is no fuse spot on the ball, that's the first thing I looked for when I dug it up, I will post a pic

it's a British 4 pounder, I also found a kings new brunswick regiment button on site they where around between 1793-1802, cheers
