1827 large cent today and a couple from the last hunt

spent the whole day in the woods.....one coin. 50 degrees and fresh air sure felt good this was the third large cent from this cellar hole and sure was hard to find. it was about 8 inches down and on its edge.....got to go...the old lady is rampagin' -mike

ok im back...women's are CRAZY! found the other coins a few days ago. i got ahold of some topo maps of my area from 1904 and it shows where all the old houses stood. a few quick comparisons with google earth and BANG!....got some new places to hunt. research pays off. anyways, good luck to everyone. -mike

still after 30 years detecting off and on, I have yet to find a large cent.............of course here in the Midwest, it's not exactly an easy task compared to out east.............but hey, maybe this will be the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
