I've only had the time to get out for some shorter hunts after work lately - but yesterday I was finally able to get out to get out for a three hour hunt at an old house that burned down twenty years ago. Luck of the draw - I finally get out on a weekend hunt - and it starts raining 10 minutes after I get there - not hard enough that it could damage the machine - but hard enough that I came home totally soaked !
Well ... turns out it was worth getting rained on for 2 hrs. and 50 minutes - found a 1941 Walking Liberty Half ( solid FE - 07 <> CO - 46/47) - and five Wheat Cents.
Been lucky this season - this is the 3rd Walking Liberty Half Dollar I've found this year - it's not in as good a condition as the other two - but I'll take it !
Thought the Sacagawea Dollar was a Quarter before I dug it - came in as a perfect - (FE -12 <> CO - 47 ).
Found the other coins in the photo's - plus approx. 50 or 60 clad coins - the 1979 Matchbox Model A - Truck and the copper band button on hunts in a field near a school, at an old abandoned house and along a few sections of older sidewalks.
HH to all ! --- Mark
