Finds are from a handful of weekend hunts since my last post. All finds were found at public researched sites with my eTrac + 12x10 SEF & 12x15 SEF coils.
The gold ring was a huge surprise. It was a tight 13-14 signal in a junky area @ 7 inches or so. I thought I was digging a buffalo nickel until I saw the glint of gold in the hole.
It is in pristine condition other than the band needing to be straightened. It made my day.
Another unique find was that Pontiac “Chief” key fob. From my research, it appears to be for a 1950 era Pontiac.
The gold colored coin is a 1937 2 Francs French coin made of bronze. It looks to be clipped around the edges.
The cooler weather and softer ground from some recent rains made hunting more enjoyable.
Thanks for looking!
Dave
