Had some more fun at that 1820's Arcadian (I've only had a couple of reasons to hunt elsewhere over the last 10 years). The 1st photo shows the 1st 1852 penny I dug up (in very bad shape). Thought I was digging up a silver quarter (solid 12-47). The second photo shows the second 1852 penny (in better shape - needs more cleaning). I also thought for sure I was digging up a silver quarter (again a solid 12-47). The next two photos show some of the finds I brought home which include a broken toy tank and gun, some buttons, camp lead, bullets including an old 32-20 Win cartridge and musket ball, a few wheaties and clad. The next photo shows an old lock (half of one). I researched it and it turned out to be a brass Mallory Wheeler & Co. Horse Head Lock. The last photo shows what might be a lead spindle whorl. Not sure on that one but it's neat. Anyways, I'll get back with you all when I find something else interesting.
Good luck at your sites,
