i ll give ya 2 bucks for it.Talk about a pocket spill.Nice find looks like it was about 7"-8" deep.Do you know what the fe side was at that depth. Thanks charlie

It was showing 12-47/48 and I think was showing about 8 inches. The signal was so loud that I at first thought it was an aluminum can until I checked the screen. I know that this fairground has been pounded and think that quite a few heard this signal and went on because of the volume of the signal.
That's where the E-Trac has the advantage in showing all of the information on the screen at once.

12-47 is awesome.........those are normally NOT cans for me.........normally 12-47 is silver on my etrac. I get pumped when I see 12-47 on my screen.
Great finds!

Now that is a "dream" pocket spill for anyone hunting older coins! Congratulations to ya Bud!

Two Barber Half's in one day - way to go Bud !!! :clapping:

I live 55 miles South of the Canfield Fairgrounds - please send me a PM if you want to get together for a hunt some time before ground freezes.
Any location is OK with me - I'd just like to get together with another E-Trac owner and compare notes!

Now that is one sweet silver multiple. Congrats!!!

I would have been shaking so bad I couldn't have kept the camera still:jump:

Thanks Ray-Mo, This place has been pounded continually since detectors were invented. It takes me about an hour and 20 minuets to get there and last time there I got 5 silver. Most who go there come away empty handed. I would enjoy someone else, that could face the challenge of 200 years of junk, digging a good target.

Mark,

Send me your e-mail address so I can get back to you directly. This is a real tough place to hunt as there is 200 years of junk in the ground. I sounds like the night crawlers have aluminum jackets. I hope to get back there in a couple of weeks. bkaczor@sbcglobal.net 440-734-4011

That makes a difference and I understand as I know a few places like you mention.Just have to be careful with the good sites as there are a lot of vultures out there.

You are correct on that. There are a lot of vultures out there and too many who dig holes and leave them or make an unsightly mess. We had one guy in our club who dug big holes, I mean BIG and didn't put the sod back and got everyone banned from several communities around here. Last I heard he got arrested and fined $135.00 for detecting where he had been warned not to come back to. This guy has had so many DUI's that his mother dops him off in the morning and he pounds the place all day until she picks him up.
