2 days in the park

Todd Pickens

New member
Work has slowed down to a crawl so I have had the chance to do more detecting. I got to spend a couple days detecting a local city park. The weather has been great for central Texas the past couple of days, but the ground is so dry you need a pick to dig a hole. 2 days of digging yielded 1 silver quarter, 3 mercs, 1 rosie, and 3 wheeties. I also got 2 tokens,1. 1944 20 centavos coin and a bunch of clad.

That's a nice assortment of finds. With the ground a hard as it is, I bet you worked up a sweat digging all those finds. Congratulations on the nice bunch of silvers, wheats, and the old 20 Centavos. Thanks for posting.

nice finds. love the silver and mexican coin. Our ground in Georgia is either like concrete or bone dry. keep up the good the good work. Craig
