2010 was a record year for indians for me!

I set a goal of 75 indians for this year and I hit that on Oct 1st. So I bumped my goal to 100 IHC, I reached that on Nov 13th.....I finished the season with 103 IHC, I am pretty happy with my etrac, I think it is an injun magnet!

As far as the breakdown by year of the 103 IHC's I found, here is what I was able to recover.

1860-1
1861-1
1863-1
1865-2
1868-1 semi key date
1873-1 semi key date
1874-2
1875-3
1876-1 semi key date
1878-1 semi key date lowest mintage of all that I found (5.8 mil)
1881-2
1882-1
1883-3
1884-3
1885-1
1887-4
1889-2
1890-6
1892-1
1893-1
1894-1
1895-2
1896-5
1897-3
1898-3
1899-4
1900-4
1901-7
1902-6
1903-3
1904-8
1905-5
1906-7
1907-6

Way to go:thumbup: I have found the E-Trac to be the best Indian getter by far as well and I have used a lot of different makes and models over the years.

Wow, there's braggin' rights.

Goes4ever,
I would say that you captured a whole tribe. By the way, how do you clean them up so nice???

soft toothbrush, a lil dish soap and water, then I apply a lil coat of wax, massage the coin between my fingers to restore some shine and buff off extra with a soft cloth

Fantastic totals, I wonder how many you found in TTF compared to conductive tones would be interesting to know. :clapping:

I'd guess 40% TTF and 60% normal conductive......I hunt farms and fields a LOT

WTG, I have only recovered two in my whole time of M-Ding, I would also be curious on what the numbers hit on average.

What TID numbers do they come in at generally on average for conductive mode? 12-30/31?
Majority of the ones I found, I'd say 85% hit around 8 to 12 on the FE side and 32 to 36 on the CO side, so whenever I got a deep 08-36 I almost KNEW it was an IHC before I even dug it. BUT don't always count on an IHC to come in perfectly at the numbers I mentioned. I know of at least 4 I found this season that came in at a very low 01-31, a few were 04 to 06-30. I pretty much stick to a rule, when hunting an old farm or field. And that is IF time allows I dig almost everything repeatable above iron that is 5 inches or deeper. This method has produced a lot of good finds and of course I dig a fair amount of junk, BUT no hunter can say he digs all good targets w/o digging junk, it is just part of the game.

VERY NICE GOOD JOB:twodetecting::cheers::jump:
