Got out for about 3 hours till dark.I used the SEF 12 x 15 for about an hour and found 2 of the Indians and one of the Barbers. This place is very bad mineralized soil and the bigger coil was not the best choice even though I was wanting to test it, so I put the Pro coil on for the last 2 hours and it felt like a feather :detecting: Most of the targets were 5"-6" deep and sounded sorry and faint because of the bad soil.I was in man. 22-26 and that was as high as my ears could stand :stretcher:

Nice digs bud! I plan on going out in the cold in the morning, new e-trac has been in the corner to long :)

Nice finds Ray !
I'm with you - I'd rather get out and hunt in the nasty weather - then not get out at all.

Good luck this season ! --- Mark

That is some nice digging for 3 hrs Ray, especially considering the bad soil. (which must be really bad if you have to go as low as manual 22). Yep, I love the weight of the pro coil, especially at the beach, where there is more swinging and less digging. But, I'm working on my arm strength with this 10x12 SEF which I like a little better....
