4 Hour hunt got me injuns...silver...and FINALLY after 30 years...my FIRST Fatty Injun...1862:crazy:

goes almost as deep. I have dug tons of coins from 8" to 9" with that little coil. It has no problem hitting a silver dime at 8" or 9" right in the hole with trash. I sold both of my 8" coils and kept my 6" excelerator. It got just as good depth for me as both the smaller Minelab coil...and my other 8" coil...AND it separated much better. It is still my favorite coil...and if I'm not in a large area...it's the coil I use most often.

Bryce, great post of a great hunt....

Congrats on getting your first fatty !!!

hey Bryce, I have a lot of fatty indians...I keep going to the casinos in Michigan...the extra money I left behind in those csinos is going to make for some fat indians

What that old lady and dog did is the equivelent of urinating on your leg and telling you it's raining? And as far as your "fatty Indian", back then the American-Indian had lots of buffalo and maise to eat, so it's not surprising they had a weight problem? If you want to do something special, try finding a "fat Barber dime" or something... You the man!!! Great finds, let's get together again soon!

I would be there tommorrow to hunt with you. Actually there are some health issues in my family so I don't want to be too far away. I'm going to do my best to be there at the club hunt in June though.

Actually I use it quite a bit. It shares time with the 1050 coil and the 6" Excelerator coil. I feel I have all the bases covered with those 3 coils. I can then go back over everything with the 12" excelerator if I need to.:super: Slip me a PM if you ever decide to get one...and I'll let you know what settings I feel it gets the best depth at (at least for me)
