9.0 vs 9.1 DST on F75LTD2 More guidance please

I am one those guys that was going with the manual until C t got hold of me. When I got my machine back from upgrade I set it to 9.1 and off I went until last week. C t convinced me to try 9.0 and I did, and done a little air testing and noticed I was getting at least 1/2" better numbers on all my coils, so now I am getting some interest so I took it hunting in the park I hunt all the time and all was well until afternoon, we had moved and was a little closer to the road and I noticed I could pick up some EMI off the cars as they went by, then I got in close to a house and I was in EMI. I never had any EMI problems in that area before.

So I adjusted the frequency a little and about that time the light bulb went off in my head, the manual is wrong, 9.0 is off and 9.1 is on.

Ron. I'm glad it's working out. There is a depth and recovery difference for sure. You will notice it more in bp. And cl. Modes. Lytle78. You are seeing what I'm seeing mine is a production unit as well. Now after corresponding. With Wv62. Several times the upgraded unit is absolutely mimicking the production unit in every way!!!! I see no need for a second or third VLF unit the 75 with dst is as deep and sensitive as it gets. Now I have been out twice with the 75dst with the 13 in ultimate on the stick and all I can say is Awesome!!!!!!!! I hit deep silver both times. With hits that sounded like 2in quarters!!!! Both my recent mercs were 9.5 and 11 ins down and my barber was 8.5 ins the silver rosie was 7-8 ins down I didn't have my pinpointer with the ruler so that's a guess at the rosie. I have had every conceivable. Unit from vx to bliss to aka signum. To golden sense. Etrac the list goes on. With. Each of them did well but NONE OF THEM. Hold a candle to the 75dst or ltd2 if you will! Now. The 75dst is my only inland coin relic Jewelry. Hunting unit. Given a bit of use the f75ltd2dst. Will become an extension of you're senses. It will talk to you. OK fellas. Enjoy you're 75. Get out and make some great finds. The unit is truly remarkable. HH c t. Tomcat. If you read this shoot me a PM let me know how the awesome upgraded camo is treating you Now I must add Wv62. Has done a lot of testing with different coils were talking Fisher as well as aftermarket. Coils. They're amazing works and will certainly shed light on coil choices. I urge anyone wondering if another coil will help. And you're thinking of purchasing one look to mr. Wv62 s. Coil testing charts. They are a valuable source of information!!!! The best I have seen.

First it's the name confusion, F75, F75SE, F75LTD, now it's 9.0 and 9.1. On or off? Then off is 80% DST on and on is 100% DST on?

I wonder if the discrimination setting still affects the sensitivity like it used to? Recover Speed, how is it affected?

I just got the old F75SE figured out and now the upgraded version has contradicting information posted and written about it that's all over the place.

Where can you to go to get facts and information. Fisher? Maybe NASA Tom will do a whole new writeup on the new F75SE-2 or is it F75LTD-2?

I contacted Fisher on the issue haven't heard back as yet. Daniel was supposed to call a week ago OK 9.0 is dst off. The disc boost is still there in 9.0 but not obvious like it was in the se or ltd in 9.1 it no longer exists. In 9.1. There is an obvious slow down. In response. 9.0 just asquick as my camo ltd. However the ltd2 dst version in 9.0. Is deeper and more accurate. Than my camo or SE. The FA mode is fantastic the new audio tones 2h 2l are great in the iron. In short Ita a great machine made better. With the upgrades. In short its an awesome machine more sensitive deeper and quiet if you prefer it quiet. For some unknown reason it's better on deep silver. Same freq as se ltd just something to do with the software. At this time it's my only machine. Sold the others. Like it that much!!! HH tom

Here is those charts ct is talking about.

Seems to me that the upgrade on the F75Ltd smoothed a lot of things out like sweep speed effecting depth, large depth steps with sensitivity adjustments.

Ron,
What are the rainbow color numbers on the fall right of the first chart represent?

That is the total of all the disc readings to the left, I didn't have it include the AM numbers because I don't hunt in AM. What I use those numbers for is if I have a couple of coils that are in the same group it gives me an idea of which is the best.

I don't think they would do anybody any good except me, but I left the on there.
