I have not been having much luck getting deep targets with the Pro Coil that came with my E-Trac. So, Saturday I tried the Pro Coil that came with my SE Pro. I detected the front of a 1913 church school for about an hour. I dug many shallow targets, mostly new and a couple of shallow wheats. I replaced the coil with the 12 inch Sun Ray and went over the same area. I may have just missed the deep targets on the first go, but I think not. The 12 inch Sun Ray just goes deeper on my E-Trac than the Pro Coil. I detected for another hour and the results are in the picture. I had to quit because of the miserable heat and humidity. All of the keepers were between 8 and 12 inches in dry sandy soil.

Great finds! I to use the X-12 and love it. I tried the 10X12 SEF for a couple of months and felt my finds dropped off considerably so I went back to the 12 and haven't thought twice about it.
