Had a few things "cookin," so haven't been swinging to much the last couple of days. The dust finally settled about noon, so headed off to a modern era park for a little coin shooting and of course, the hopes for a jewelry piece. I headed straight to the middle grounds of the park and spent close to two hours digging every foil, tab and nickel reading, all to no avail, for anything gold looking. In this endeavor, I did manage 9 quarters, 14 dimes, 3 nickels and 15 zincers and a pocket full of trash. Finally deciding trash digging was growing old, I started a zig zag path off in the direction of my vehicle when I got a shallow lock on 90 reading with the Omega and it was just screaming, "dig me." I flipped over about a inch deep plug and laying on the bottom of the plug was a sterling silver ring. If I had zigged instead of zagged, that baby would still be out there. So, "a little luck never hurts." Had the 10" coil on and sen 99, disc1, d3 tones and g b of 61-63. HH jim tn
