Hey guys
. Decided to go swing the coil for an hour at my go-to spot. The Etrac seems to be acting up a bit. It's falsing a little more often, even though I have not touched my settings. Oh well, at least I know it still works. First signal was a screaming 09-42. Ended up being a nail. Second digable signal was a 12-25. Gold ring!? Nope...a WWI trench lighter at 9"! The next decent signal was an 11-43/44. Dug down about 5-6" and saw a big copper in the side of the hole, sitting at a 45 degree angle. There was iron crud all over it. I couldn't even chip it off. At first I thought it could be a big washer or if I'm lucky, a George III copper. After a round of elecrtolysis.........it's a Cartwheel! A 1797 Cartwheel penny....my 5th one this year! Thanks for looking!

Ok...maybe not an actual "greenspace". I'm just trying to be careful not to give away my site. I am from a tiny community and I know there are a handful of guys that are from my community, who lurk on the forums. You know how it is. It's an original loyalist site. It was also used up until the first quarter of the 1900's as a "camp".

That lighter is awesome!! the coins not bad either. Congrats and HH
