I will be checking everything out but I am pretty sure that it was the Garretts pinpointer because I never had this problem with the original F75. I didn't have that pinpointer then... then again I hardly ever hunted in AM mode with it.
I wont be able to get out and test it until sometime next week but I WILL be letting you know what happens. I had already learned to leave my cellphone in my truck when I use the F75, the cell doesn't seem to effect some detectors like it does the T2/F75. It never even crossed my mind that my trash pouch or hand digger might cause a problem... I try to keep my shovel back out of the way but i'll be checking that too. Maybe a shovel quiver would work well. Obviously all pinpointers aren't a problem, else the SunRay inline probe would be a big problem.
