I've had several people come and hunt our city park with various detectors with little to no luck. What is left is just plain deep and out of reach of most detectors. I took the E-Trac to the park this weekend and once again was amazed at the ability to pulled old coins from such a worked over site.
My total for the weekend.
38 wheats(including a rusted 1943 steel)
3 buffalo nickles
1 40% war nickle
1 standing liberty(no date)
5 mercs
1 rosie
1 Oklahoma tax token(brass)
1 thimble
sterling locket
bracelet
Camillus pocket knife
Not bad considering nothing was pulled from this are with many other detector.
A hunting buddy, and his E-Trac, joined in Sunday and this is our finds for that hunt

You have the right machine for those pounded to death parks. Are you still in auto sensitivity and coin mode or have you tweaked your settings?
