Stopped at a place that looked to be about early to mid 1800s. Never expected to get permission but was totally surprised when she said have at it. Then she added that her father in-law had already hunted it out.
Well, I was already there and it looked soooo inviting. And you know the saying, nothing is ever hunted out.
I parked my truck and got the explorer out and trying not to look too excited, I got ready to hunt.
I walked up to the stone walkway to the front door and turned on the machine. I took two swings and that sweet large piece of silver rang out. I turned the plug over and there it lay. Now I'm smilin.
To make a long story short, she came out after watching me from every view point and told me she was leaving and I should pack it up.
I did manage the 1942 Walker, a 1918 Merc, a small lock and a nice smaller than a dime Artillery Button.
I think if given enough time to work that area. I could have had a lot more items to show from this hunted out site
