Another good hunt with CTX part 2

This is to follow up Bootyhunters post. We hunted an old 30's homesite and I too had a great day. Last week I broke the silver wall finally with a war nickel. Well on this hunt I got a soild wheat 12 42 6" dug it 1942 Wheat rescaned the hole and got a soild 12 46 7" out popped my first Washington silver 1942, I was pumped. So I rechecked the hole and sure enough 13 44 5" soild. I popped out a 1945 merc. So I hit a 1940's pocket spill. I found 2 more wheats 1918 and 1937 D. I also found the small disk with the number 3 it was a 12 41 at 6". I ended the hunt with a total of 26 coins and these keepers. We are planning to revisit this site and see what other silver is hiding.

Wow a great hunt for the both of you!!! I am sure there will be more to find there. Seems there is always something else to find at most sites. It is awesome to have a buddy to hunt with and have the same detector and learn from each other. I am hoping to get out quite a bit with fsdigital12 to try and perfect this machine.

Awesome finds! Good job
