ANOTHER silver thimble!!!

Goes4ever

New member
so odd I go 3 yrs and only dig brass and aluminum thimbles and after today I have my THIRD sterling thimble this season!

I spotted an old farm that was just tore down last night, located the owner and secured permission. Not a lot of finds, but I am more than happy with the results. I will stop again when I have time and go over the heavy iron with TTF to see what I missed. Got some wheats, 1900 V nickel, and a 1930 dog tag in the shape of a dog's head. I dug one similar to this last year. And the silver thimble I was sure was going to be a silver quarter, solid 12-47 signal at 7"........:clapping:

Awesome finds! I look for your posts on every visit just for the inspiration. Don't know what it is, but I just love those V nickels.

Very nice job! Thanks for sharing!

I love those thimbles! Congrats on another great day!

Even a thimble with the intitials on it. Suppose the person that lost that was related to the people that own the land Terry? It'd be neat to know how long thats been laying there. Thanks for the pictures.
