For hunting in woods there is nothing better...no cords to hang you up although I don't have a huge problem with that.
Equipment is everything and even though you still want the best sound you can get the most important thing to be concerned with seems to be lag time.
The Fisher line for instance prides itself on the legendary fast recovery times most units possess.
Too much and it will negate this, drive you nuts and in areas with targets in close proximity you will miss stuff.
Not all combinations are the same so get real world experience from several users before you buy.
