Anyone ever find gold at 12:37 or 12:42/43?

Just curious has any CTX user ever found gold in the penny numbers 12:37 or 12:42/43?
If so what type and do you have a photo? Tired of digging pennies.
Thanks
Jon

A 20$ gold piece will supposedly come in even higher,like a quarter. Haven’t found one yet...
I don’t normally dig 12-37 and only dig 12-42/43 when in Ferrous/coin or if the target reads deep. Still no gold but I’m not looking for it either...that would be a much lower range in general.

Yes, West Point Academy Ring came in at 12 42 in dry sand on freshwater river. I think it was 10k.

Yep, a large 10k 1937 class ring. Thought I had a deep zinc cent. Surprise :yikes:

I would add the following to this line of thought;
If you are in an area where Gold rings might be common, say a beach where people wear and lose gold then...DIG the Penny signal.

If your on a lot where your tired of digging pennies then you may feel ok not digging the penny signals, but If your finding old coins mixed with the newer than Id tell you to dig them as Ive found some really good targets where the numbers were not accurate but the red dot and the sound were really sharp and the target is way better than expected.

good luck,
Shov
