Anyone use Ferrous ??

Playing around making some beach patterns. I wonder if using Ferrous would be better tone wise. Makes the low conductors come in at i high tone.

iv used it befor. i actually hunt a site in conduct then when i can't find anything anymore at that site i will hunt in ferr a few times. that always seems to get me a few more goodies out of a worked out spot.
but i never used it on a beach so now im wanting to try it to.

Use it a lot and love it. If you really want to clean the goodies out of a site it's wonderful. I recently found a new homestead site to hunt and used ferrous 2 tone with the Pro coil. I hunted the site fairly quickly and picked out several goodies. Came back for a second run and decided to use the 6" coil and go over the trashy area very slowly and got next to no new finds. Been back a couple of more times with the same results which leads me to believe that using ferrous 2 tone with the Pro coil does a great job of picking the good targets out quickly.

I almost always use ferrous/2-tones. 4 tones or multi will false in ferrous.. 2-tones won't false. I also almost always use the relic pattern (slightly enlarged)... the conductive number don't lie. It is easy and fast and will do some serous unmasking in a "hunted out" park.

Don't know about the beach, I always use the Sovereign at the beach.
