Awesome end of the yr Hunt Copper, silver, and GOLD

New member
it was 37 degrees and sunny today, I wanted to get one last hunt in before my surgery on the 28th. I found several wheats, a merc, walking liberty half and a heavy gold 10K ring. It registered as a solid 12-23, right at the pulltab range. But it was 6-7" deep .....so I dug and I am so glad I did. I met my LAST and final goal of the year, and that was getting a gold ring. I think it is an old class ring, but there is no school on it, it just says H.S. and I am guessing that is High School. I am just thrilled to have met all my goals this year!!! It weighs 9.2grams so at todays gold price that puts it right at $199, not too bad!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery! and MERRY CHRISTMAS! I just had a procedure done last Thursday.

Very nice !!!

Happy Holidays !!

Nice to someone finding the good stuff.

It appears that we both scheduled elective surgeries during times we doubted we could detect

I had min almost 3 weeks ago and it was torture to wait when the skies remained blue with bright sunshine and temps in the 50's

Good Luck on your surgery and have a speedy and pain free recovery

As for the finds and your gold Goal

WELL, OUTSTANDING......as usual

Happy and Healthy Holidays to you and your family and friends

I have carpal tunnel in both hands, and my ulnar nerve is compressed in both arms as well (previous job repetitive factory work) it causes my fingers to go numb, hands fall asleep, shooting pains up my arms, and tingling sensations, it really is quite annoying.

I am getting my right side fixed first, it is by far the worse of the two then hopefully the left side in a couple yrs. It is an outpatient surgery, go home the same day. doc said I will be good as new in 4-8 weeks depending how well I do in physical therapy. I am 38 yrs old so hopefully recovery goes quick.

You and Tony can "recoup" together. You know, two Detecting buddies laying in bed, swapping "swingin" lies. I can just see it now. Make sure Tony films it...we'll all want to watch that on Youtube.

Good luck on your surgery. Had my right hand done about 8 years ago or so, and it was instant relief. Didn't have any problems at all. Only thing is for about 8 months it would hurt a bit when you went to cut barbwire or the like with a pair of pliers, as you would always put the plier handle right in the middle where they cut.

Take care Terry and Merry CHRISTmas!!!!

Congratulations on meeting all your goals.

Very glad you found Gold and met your goals. My wife just went through carpel tunnel one arm at a time and she is doing great now, hope yours goes good as well.

Good finds and I hope more on the way. Moreover, please get better.

Outstanding finds Terry !

My wife had the surgery for carpel tunnel approx. ten years ago - since the surgery she never wakes up in the middle of the night with pain and numbness in her hands.

Good luck with your surgery and happy holidays ! --- Mark

Hey I bet Terry will be out swinging the detector in his left hand with a digger held between his teeth how can you keep a good man down especially if he is named "Goes4ever"

well Tony I am right handed, but since day one have used my left hand to swing my detector. If I can learn to dig with my left hand I will be all set!
