e-trac and i haven't had much time together in the last few months so finally tonight i headed to church iv hunted once. loads of trash and only penny and one nickel.
then i had a nasty low tone that sounded like a sick nickel or foil. i wasn't using a light or the back light so i was blind. But i managed to find the foil and straight down in the dirt as i reached and retrieved the foil i felt something with my finger tips and look what it was.

Great ring! is that from Baylor University?

Nice ring !!!
I really like hunting too - it's a lot of fun !

AHHHH Night hunting calm peaceful no one to bather you the wind the moon the (*&^$*%^&SKUNKS and mosquito's) lololol

thanks for the comments.
oh the ring is 10k yellow gold but in the pic it was still dirty so it didn't shine like gold should.

Nice ring - congratulations! Let us know if you find the owner. I went to my local detector meeting tonight, and a fellow detectorist received a really nice card from the owner of a lost class ring that he returned. If you find the person, then try asking your local newspaper to cover the story. Good PR will help to keep the public places in our respective cities & towns open for detecting.
